The Supreme Court is dedicated to ensuring accessibility for everyone. Visitors who require additional assistance can speak to our enquiries team when pre-booking a visit or when they arrive at the court.

The Supreme Court's main and only entrance to the public has step-free access and automatic doors. On arrival, visitors must pass through airport-style security which can be accessed via a lift if required. Security guards will help you throughout the process.
All floors at the Supreme Court are accessible by lift. There is also a dedicated lift to Courtroom 3 that security can assist you with.
Assistance dogs are welcome at the Supreme Court. We have the facilities to provide water for dogs on request, and we are in close proximity to St James's Park and The Green Park if rest breaks are required. Assistant dogs are permitted in the courtrooms when cases are being heard, as well as when on tours or visiting the building.
Car parking and Blue Badge parking
When travelling by car you will be subject to the congestion charge, and parking is limited in the area. You can also park with a disabled badge within a short distance of the Court.
Visitors with hearing impairments
The reception desk has a portable induction loop which will improve audibility for visitors using hearing aids at reception.
Hearing aid wearers should set the device to the 'T' function in order to access the sound systems in the courtroom. Please note that many digital hearing aids have this function automatically set.

Sound enhancement
Public tours are available on Fridays, in normal circumstances neck loops and receivers for use on tours are available and can be collected at reception.

Subtitled videos
The educational videos on display in our exhibition area include subtitles. Court hearings are live streamed to our websites the recordings have closed captions. Printed bench memos called press summaries are available on this website.
Visitors with visual impairments
For UK residents with visual impairments, we can offer a large print or braille version of our visitor leaflet for you to use during your visit.

Refreshments
The Supreme Court café is on the lower ground floor, which is accessible via lift and stairs.
Accessible toilets
On the lower ground floor there are public toilets for disabled users. Accessible toilets are also located on the ground floor by reception and the second floor by Courtroom 1. There are braille notices on toilet doors.
Changing facilities
Baby changing facilities are available in the Lower Ground toilets.
